Frequently asked questions

How long before I see a difference?

Most owners tell us they notice something in the first four to six weeks, usually easier movement getting up, or more willingness on walks. Joint support is cumulative, so give it a full cycle of daily feeding before you judge it. You have 120 days to decide, so there is no rush.

How many chews does my dog need?

It goes by bodyweight: 1 chew up to 10 kg, 2 chews for 10–25 kg, 3 chews for 25–40 kg, and 4 chews over 40 kg. The full chart is on the pack and on the product page.

What age can my dog start?

Advanced Joint Care Chew is formulated for adult dogs from 12 months. Plenty of owners start early as a preventative for larger breeds, and plenty start later when they notice stiffness. Both are fine. For puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs, check with your vet first.

My dog is fussy. Will they actually eat it?

They are soft, duck-flavour chews rather than hard tablets, so most dogs take them as a treat with no persuading. If yours genuinely will not eat them, tell us and we will refund you under the 120-day guarantee.

What's actually in it?

Glucosamine HCl, chondroitin sulphate, green-lipped mussel, turmeric and MSM, in a duck-flavour chew. Every active is listed with its amount per serving on the product page, with no proprietary blends hiding the doses.

Are there any side effects?

These are complementary pet foods and are well tolerated by most dogs. Occasionally a dog introduced to a new supplement too quickly has a loose stool; starting with a half serving for a few days usually settles it. Stop use and speak to your vet if you notice anything that concerns you.

Can I give it alongside medication or other supplements?

Often yes, but we cannot advise on your individual dog. If your dog is on medication, has a diagnosed condition, or is due surgery, check with your vet before adding anything new.

Is it suitable for dogs with allergies?

The chews contain duck as the flavour source. Check the full ingredient list on the product page against your dog's known triggers, and speak to your vet if you are unsure.

How should I store them?

Somewhere cool and dry with the bag resealed. No fridge needed. Use within the period stated on the pack once opened.

How do subscriptions work?

You choose the frequency at checkout and we send it automatically. You can pause, skip, change frequency or cancel at any time from your account. Just do it at least 48 hours before your next billing date.

What does delivery cost and how long does it take?

UK delivery is free on every order. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are usually dispatched the same day and arrive in 2–4 working days (a little longer for Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).

What if it doesn't work for us?

Email hello@rareburg.com within 120 days with your order number and we will refund you in full. Nothing to send back and no forms to complete.
